The NETGEAR Wireless-N 150 Router Modem DGN1000 with built-in DSL Modem is a combination of a high-performance router and a modem, which saves you space, the money you would otherwise spend on leasing a router, and the trouble of managing extra wires. This all-in-one router can be set up easily, offers the parental control option, and has superior wireless coverage compared to Wireless-G routers.

You can replace your old DSL modem with this modem. The ADSL2+ modem of the DGN1000 is compatible with AT&T, Earthlink, Verizon, etc. The all-in-one enables you to change DSL providers without changing equipment.

NETGEAR Wireless-N 150 Router provides you better speed and range compared to older Wireless-G routers because it has advanced Wireless-N technologies as well as powerful internal antennas. The speed you will get will be enough for making internet phone calls, playing multiplayer games, etc. And the corners of your house, where there used to be no coverage, like the basement, may now have reception. Also available are 4 Ethernet ports that sense automatically, in case your computer does not have wireless or you want to use wired connection.

If you are concerned about your family getting exposed to inappropriate content, you can use the Live Parental Controls feature for blocking such content. These controls enable remote customization of settings via a Web browser for blocking potentially harmful content as well as applications. The protection is available for each device connected through the router, including, but not limited to, gaming consoles and PCs.

After the set up process is complete, the Push 'N' Connect feature becomes active. If you want to connect a new device, just press a button and the router will automatically and securely configure and connect the device to your network, thus eliminating the need for remembering passwords and security keys. (This option is available with other Push 'N' Connect/WPS enabled applications.)
